What is a Funnel chart?
A tableau funnel chart is a type of visualization that represents linear workflows in decreasing order. It visually represents the progression of a business process and helps the user get a systematic view of various data values. Funnel charts are extremely powerful in business settings, highlighting successful strategies and identifying potential problem areas at a glance. They're used by sales, marketing, and product teams to show the progression of data as it passes through sequential stages
How to create a Funnel chart?
Prerequisite
1. I am using tableau public, which is free
2. The dataset is a superstore dataset.
Steps
1. Connect to the data source, Add the excel file for the superstore from the folder

2. Place the profit in a Rows and make it to the entire view

3. Place the segment in color pane

4. Place the sum(profit) in the size of the mark pane

5. Now we got the funnel chart of profit segment-wise, so let’s add the profit on the label and add the segment to the label. I have done shading to the graph to make it more eye-catching

With these steps, we can create a tunnel chart that is not available in Tableau. From the Tunnel chart, we can see the profit variation for each segment.
